Hey all,
Just got a WRX and it's throwing the dreaded P0447 (evap leak) code. Car runs fine and after having the PO replace the gas cap and filler neck, and checking the vac lines (including a spray with carb cleaner to check for leaks), no luck. So, I was wondering if anyone could help me clear it for good using a Tactrix cable (or something similar). I'd be happy to pay someone for their time, let me know if you're interested.

I'm located in Watertown, NY. Thanks! :D

You can clear it with a regular code reader, most parts stores will let you borrow one.

Ive got a regular code reader.issue is that doing this will reset all of your monitors to "not ready". Your cel will keep coming back and you wont be able to pass emissions. The tactrix lets you get around all of that by forcing readiness and permanently shutting off the code(s).
