Looking to return my '11 sti hatchback back to stock and just ran cobbs pre made stage 1 map. I love my current setup however I am looking to make it more daily driver friendly as I do a lot of long distance driving etc.

Parts on the car:

-Invidia Q300 turboback exhaust
-Cobb SF intake
-Kartboy short shifter

I do like the short shifter but i hate the loud high pitch whiny noise it gives my car-- are there any remedies for this or any different kits that don't do this? Would just putting the stock bushings help at all?

I am going to be selling all this stuff too, so if anyone is interested and has a garage, i'd obviously work that into the price. I live in apartment and nowhere to work on it and no tools, not to mention lack the knowledge/experience to do this stuff too. Or, if you dont want the stuff and are just interested in making a quick buck i'd be willing to throw some cash your way too.

Let me know if anyones interested!

The short shifter shouldn't be causing any noise. Neither should any shifter bushings. Sounds more like the pivot ball on the shifter isn't seated or fitting correctly. I had a Agency Power SS that would whine because it didn't fit right and would vibrate at high rpms. I now have a TWM and it works great.

Also have a garage and would be willing to help swap your parts over.

It could be the rear bushing causing some vibration. Hard to tell without seeing/hearing first hand.

Hey guys, ended up not doing it a few months ago. Still looking to return to stock. Pm me if interested. I will still be selling the same things in the OP but also will be selling my Acess Port as well, and will throw in some brand new never used RA urethane flaps for free. Let me know!
